““We had our wedding at the Capitol Room in December and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. From the moment of our first inquiry, Megan and her staff were amazing, involved and answered any questions we had along the way. Prior to the wedding, we met with Megan to talk details and she asked questions that would make the day easier! For example, she wanted to know parents names so she was able to easily communicate with everyone day of! Megan also has THE best sense of humor, and is honest and extremely professional. She knows SO much and has excellent recommendations. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous and needs NO decor. The staff is professional, caring but also fun!! They are part of the reason our day was as perfect as it was! They made sure everything was set up perfectly, the morning of the wedding I saw one team member using a string to measure distance between chairs- that’s how precise they were!! “Megan and her team at the Capitol Room are beyond amazing. My husband and I got married in September 2023 and we couldn’t have chosen better people to work with. We hired Megan as our day-of coordinator as well and I cannot recommend Megan enough. Megan deeply cares about her clients and their needs and it shows with every interaction we had with her. Most of the people we invited to our wedding traveled in from out of state and we wanted to ensure they enjoyed themselves during the wedding celebrations!
We could not have done that without Megan and her team. The bridal suite and groom suite at The Capitol Room are essential and everyone in our wedding party was very comfortable while we all got ready. All of our guests have had nothing but good things to say about the venue and their experiences during our wedding day. The building’s accessibility features at The Capitol Room are also great for anyone who requires them and this was one of the only venues we toured that offered them for the reception hall and cocktail hour space. Megan helped us with every last detail and really went out of her way to ensure the day was an incredible one customized to exactly what we were envisioning.

“I think the thing that impressed us the most about having our wedding at the Capitol Room was how incredibly friendly and personable the staff were, making us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire planning process. We were also impressed with how convenient it was to have decor/centerpieces on site that we could choose from instead of needing to bring in our own. Having the getting ready suites, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all under one roof was such a game changer too.
Megan, our day-of coordinator and the venue manager, was absolutely amazing! She was organized, efficient, and always there to make sure everything went smoothly. She went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was perfect, and we can’t thank her enough for her hard work and dedication.
